Butterfly Lovers

I received an invite to the sneak screening of Butterfly Lovers on Wednesday which I had to attend. The ticket stated 8.45pm but we were only allowed into the screen at 9.30pm. That was quite a wait without proper explanation from the organisers.As for the movie, Wu Xia Liang Zhu - translated to Martial Arts Liang Zhu; it was 30 minutes too long and that whole 30 minutes were all in the final quarter of the movie. It just dragged like mud. Worst part of the movie was Charlene Choi who people still consider her an actress. It's mind-boggling.A more appropriate name for the movie would have been Ou Xiang Liang Zhu instead (Idol Liang Zhu).Rating: 3 / 10 (Full review at silverscreen.thinkbrunei.com)
