The Losers (7/10)
If you want to make a senseless action movie purely for the sake of entertainment, this is how you do it. (Clash Of The Titans on the other hand was a good example of what not to do.)I only wished that director Sylvain White added more blood just to have more consistency. What I dislike to see is how characters can walk away from a fight without a single scratch on them, especially when you can see how bad the brawl was. And this had the 007's cannot-be-hurt style all over it. Ten guns not hitting their target, what's up with that?Is Jeffrey Dean Morgan an action hero in the making? He played the part well, though I don't see him as the go-to guy like, say for example, Dwayne Johnson. But I really wouldn't mind seeing more of him as I finally don't see him as that ridiculous ghost from his Grey's Anatomy's days anymore.Chris Evans was a great comic in this one. His falsetto-singing to Don't Stop Believing was one of the highlights. And he played his part so well as the goofball that it got me worried. How is this guy supposed to pull off a Captain America role. He's way too young to begin with but I think Cap's creators know what they are doing and will surprise me. I hope. The worst part of the movie was Jason Patric's villain. He must be one of the lamest villain onscreen. He didn't look scary, the glove didn't help one bit, and that light-coloured suits looked as stupid as his acting. But other than that, this movie was a whole lot of fun.
