[/caption]It's always an amazing experience for the audience when an actor can become so thorough in their portrayal, and Meryl Streep is definitely one of the best out there today. Her performance of course stole the show and it's because of her brilliance that the audience really felt for her as we watch her from scene to scene.Director Nora Ephron of You've Got Mail and Sleepless In Seattle fame (her writing credits will show more) has brilliantly wrote this screenplay to interweave both stories smoothly in their transitioning. Each time the story switched gear, it's refreshing and I found myself always ready and wanting to find out more of what's going on with the switched-in character.Amy Adams and Stanley Tucci were fantastic as well in their roles - especially Adams who needed to carry her part of the story on her own. She's got the charisma when in front of the camera. And I was quite surprised to find myself laughing so much and so loudly, some of the jokes were really hilarious and brilliantly shot by the director.
