[/caption]Properly written, properly directed and properly acted. It's not the most interesting story but it is Woody Allen. It's his typical style and he's had great actors to work with here.An interesting concept was presented here, whereby two people can be perfect for each other but only if there was a third party.As much as I don't find Penelope Cruz appealing as an actor, I thought her performance was brilliant. I didn't find Scarlett Johansson the right fit in Match Point but here she was just right. And Javier Bardem was great as the messed up and broken artist.
