Jobs (5/10)

Ashton Kutcher's got the gait down, the body language and the mannerism, as far as I can tell from the very few times I've seen Steve Jobs on any screen.

His dramatic acting here should be lauded for he seldom goes outside the familiarity of comedy. And he gave a fine performance here. So did everyone else including Josh Gad as the other Steve.

I think why Jobs didn't do any better was because of the uninspiring writing which led to a weak story progression, and that affected the direction and the pacing as the movie sometimes was too slow to keep attention.

Especially earlier on in the early stage of Jobs' life, there was the drug abuse scenes which I really could have done without, or made much shorter.

And the ending didn't culminate into anything worth of note and felt like the whole thing just fell flat. A pity because I thought Kutcher was an interesting choice who managed to pull it off.
