Non-Stop (7/10)

Put Liam Neeson in anything and he'll make it work. It's an average script but Neeson's intensity made it work.

And what director Jaume Collet-Serra did with the script was also very decent. I especially liked the tight enclosure action sequences, like in the lavatory; it was impressive camera work.

But other than Neeson, the rest of the cast didn't have too much going on for them. Julianne Moore was the one with the next big role but her character didn't really have too much to offer.

There were a couple of other bigger names, like Lupita Nyong'o who's an Oscar contender this year, and Corey Stoll who was nominated for Golden Globe earlier this year as well. Again, they didn't have too much to do.

Not everything that happened was explained. One could argue that the script was not properly written out but for this movie it didn't bother me that much. And the pace was moving non-stop so it kept things interesting.
