Jason Momoa was just at Jimmy Kimmel Live promoting his new movie, Road To Paloma, in which he wrote and directed. This, obviously, isn't the news here.
Kimmel very quickly brought up the speculation that Momoa will be playing Aquaman which will be introduced in Batman v Superman, a speculation that has been rumoured for months now.
However, Momoa did not confirm, but instead played it coy. More importantly though, he did not once deny it. My only guess now is that he's very close to signing the deal with Warner Bros. and is probably just working out the final details. But I would say it looks like a 90% done deal.
So now we're going to be seeing Wonder Woman, Cyborg and Aquaman appearing in Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice in 2 years time. That's 5 Justice League members already. Will we see Green Lantern? Or will this be the line-up?
Avengers had Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. I believe Justice League will either match that number at the very least or go bigger. So the question to ask should be, how many more will appear in the next DC movie before the Justice League movie comes out in 3 years time?
