It's official. Sony has announced that they will bring Sonic The Hedgehog from the gaming platform to the big screen.
Whether or not we'll see other popular characters from the game like Tails is still unconfirmed.
I've had my fair share of spending hours in front of the TV playing this game back when Sega came out with the 32-bit console. But as of now, I'm really not interested in this, though I still have no idea what this will look like.
Some say it will be like Smurfs - CGI plus live action. I hope not. Smurfs was bad. But let me bring up another movie that's based on gaming, Wreck-It Ralph. Now if they do something like that, that could be awesome for Sonic.
