There is life in the sequel to Enchanted yet. Remember the Disney original? It was surprisingly very delightful and funny in the tongue-in-cheek way as Amy Adams, James Marsden and Patrick Dempsey made fun of the Disney princesses cliches.
Now it's being reported that the Shrek 2 team (which was the best Shrek sequel out of the franchise) of J. David Stem and David N. Weiss are going to be on writing duty for the Enchanted sequel. But no word as of yet if any of the original cast members will reprise their roles.
But with a writing team that has the potential to churn out a great story, there is hope even if I'm not that interested for an Enchanted sequel. I'm just not sure if I want to see Amy Adams' wide-eyed innocence again. Maybe not use the same leads as before and focus on another character from the original? Maybe.
