Gallows Hill
Gallows Hill was the original name but since then it's been updated to The Damned. From the trailer, it looks like a typical horror movie with good looking actors just because there is little substance. And actually, it doesn't even look that scary so I'm probably going to give this a pass since there are 3 other movies from the last 2 weeks that I haven't watched yet (minus The Possession Of Michael King which has already been taken off).
The Hundred-Foot Journey
Produced by Steven Spielberg and... wait for it, Oprah Winfrey... this one looks the most promising out of the bunch. The witty dialogue right from the beginning when Helen Mirren first spoke in the trailer got me smiling a big smile. That carried on throughout the rest of the trailer so I'm really looking forward to this one. Not to mention all those delicious-looking food is getting me hungry!
Mercenaries
I believe my friends at The Mall Cineplex has gotten the wrong picture attached to this movie. I'm guessing it's the 2014 Mercenaries led by stunt-woman Zoe Bell in an all-female cast of mercenaries in an extraction mission. No idea why they need an all-female group yet. This looks like a B-grade, low budget action movie with cheap CGI that can be seen at the end of the trailer. The main focus here would be Bell, to see what she can do in a movie of her own. But so far, only Vivica A. Fox looks badass from this trailer. I might leave this until I've run out of movies to watch.
The November Man
Pierce Brosnan re-teaming up with director Roger Donaldson for another James Bond-ish role. Should be interesting as Donaldson has done some decent action flicks back in the late 90's - though not of late. This trailer looks interesting enough, about the master versus the protege, also starring Olga Kurylenko, and has plenty of action sequences and car chase it seems. Will definitely catch this to see if Brosnan still has what it takes.
