Ben Affleck Once Again To Direct A Dennis Lehane Novel
Seven years ago, Ben Affleck silenced all his critics with his first directorial effort, author Dennis Lehane's Gone Baby Gone, in which he also shared writing credits in its adaptation.
His next directorial effort will see Affleck adapting a new book by Lehane titled Live By Night that came out in 2012.
It should come as no surprise that this book also sets in Boston and is a crime thriller. And that's the exciting part as that's what Affleck is so good at. We should expect to see something along the calibre of Gone Baby Gone and The Town.
Affleck has also attracted 3 great actresses in Sienna Miller, Zoe Saldana and Elle Fanning. Though all 3 could have easily be in a leading capacity, obviously there can only be one and as of now we have no idea who will have the least screen time. It will be a shame for whoever that has the least.
This also shows how far Affleck has come as a director. Any actor out there will be crazy to not want to be in Affleck's film right now as he is red hot.
