Christoph Waltz May Be The Next Bond Villain

Christoph Waltz has always played a villainous role. It's not because he's good at playing a villain but because he's a damn good actor. Which is why I am not that thrilled to hear he could be the antagonist in the next Bond film.

I much prefer to see him in something else. Perhaps Horrible Bosses 2 and Big Eyes will change my mind (though I suspect he'll be somewhat of a villain as well in those two movies), but I really don't want to see Waltz in anything similar to Django Unchained or Inglourious Basterds or The Three Musketeers. (Which is why I should check out Terry Gilliam's The Zero Theorem - mental note.)

And since I'm not a big Bond fan, even though Daniel Craig is slowly changing my mind, I just hope that Waltz will bring something different and fresh to the table, if he does sign up - which should be almost a done deal.

Waltz will be joining Craig, Lea Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris and Dave Bautista in the 24th Bond movie for a 6 November 2015 release date.
