Kenneth Branagh's first trailer for his upcoming Disney live-action remake of Cinderella has just hit the web.
Starring Lily James as Cinderella, Helena Bonham Carter as the Fairy Godmother, Cate Blanchett as the evil stepmother, Hayley Atwell as Cinderella's mother, and Richard Madden as Prince Charming.
From this trailer, I don't see James as Cinderella just yet, but Carter and Blanchett have kept things interesting and I am very interested in the movie.
But more so when the mice came onscreen! They definitely make the whole movie more Disney than when it first started out.
I am also curious as to what Branagh's vision is for this classic story. And so far the score in this trailer has captured the tone beautifully.
