Warcraft Wants You To Choose A Side

True to the nature of the game, you have to choose a side. And the movie version of Warcraft has just released a sign-up campaign on two separate websites.

On these websites are also the campaign images. So whether you're for the Alliance or for the Horde (I used to fight for the Horde before 2 years later I woke up and thought how bad the end game grind was and stopped immediately), both websites encourage you to sign up to receive updates of the movie.

Even though now I hate the game (especially since they launched Kung Fu Panda as a playable character), I'm still excited for the movie and hope that it will be great. This marketing campaign is also a great idea to get fans excited.

However, I doubt it will be pulling in new fans who have not played the game before. And it's certainly not pulling me in.

Also, in another related news, Blizzard Entertainment has revealed the characters that some of the actors will be portraying. I recognise some of the names but not all from the game "World of Warcraft".

For the Alliance:
Ben Foster is Medivh
Dominic Cooper is King Llane Wrynn
Ruth Negga is Lady Taria
Travis Fimmel is Anduin Lothar
Ben Schnetzer is Khadgar

For the Horde:
Toby Kebbell is Durotan
Paula Patton is Garona (though her description says she's caught between the two factions)
Clancy Brown is Blackhand The Destroyer
Daniel Wu is Gul'Dan
Rob Kazinsky is Orgrim

What's interesting here is that, will the movie make the Horde as the villains because it's never really pronounced as such in the game?

Directed and rewritten by Duncan Jones, the movie is set to release on 11 March 2016.
