On the heels of the news that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 has gotten David Green on the director's chair, here's another new tidbit.
Casey Jones, the second human character to become the Turtles' ally after April O'Neil, will be included in the sequel.
Jones has become a beloved character in the animated series, both old and current, and having him in the next movie is really a no-brainer.
On top of that, the two silly mutated henchmen of Shredder, Bebop and Rocksteady, will also make their movie debut.
I was actually hoping that this reincarnation of the franchise was going to be more serious and darker in tone, a la the original comic book. But after seeing the first one, I was left quite disappointed. Now that they are adding Bebop and Rocksteady, who are probably going to be as dumb in personality as the cartoons' version; I won't be cheering for this sequel anytime soon.
