James Bond 24 Officially Gets Title And Cast
The official announcement from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, Sony Pictures and EON Productions has given us the title and the cast.
The 24th James Bond movie is titled Spectre. SPECTRE is also an acronym in Ian Felming's James Bond novels that stands for SPecial Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion.
And alongside Daniel Craig, the other cast members are Rory Kinnear, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris and Ralph Fiennes reprising their roles in the franchise, while adding newcomers Andrew Scott, Dave Bautista, Monica Bellucci, Lea Seydoux, and Christoph Waltz.
Other tidbits from the announcement are that Bond's car will be an Aston Martin DB10, the movie will start shooting on 8 December 2014 and locations will include Pinewood London, Rome, Morocco, Austria and others.
Returning from Skyfall to direct is Sam Mendes. The movie is scheduled to be out on 6 November 2015.
