Based on the books "The Snowden Files: The Inside Story Of The World's Most Wanted Man", as well as "Time Of The Octopus", Joseph Gordon-Levitt's next project will see him work with director Oliver Stone in the upcoming controversial movie on the NSA whistleblower, Edward Snowden.
This could be another Oscar nomination opportunity for Gordon-Levitt, who is already getting some award buzz with his work on The Walk, the story of Phillippe Petit.
The movie, Snowden, keeps bringing in excellent talent; including Oscar winner Melissa Leo, Oscar nominee Tom Wilkinson, Shailene Woodley, Zachary Quinto and Rhys Ifans. And just yesterday, it has also added Timothy Olyphant.
Snowden's screenplay is adapted by Stone and Kieran Fitzgerald, and is slated to be released on 25 December 2015.
