Rose Byrne Will Come Back For Next X-Men
We last saw the character Moira MacTaggert, played by Rose Byrne in X-Men: First Class; where by the end of the movie Charles Xavier was forced to wipe parts of her memory so that she would not have remembered meeting the X-Men.
While being absolutely absent in the sequel, Days Of Future Past, the writer for Days Of Future Past and the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse, Simon Kinberg, has confirmed that he will be bringing back Byrne's character.
Byrne, who was not the star she is now when she did First Class, has gained much stardom and credit as an actress since then. It would be a no-brainer for the producers to want to bring her back to this Marvel franchise again, and Byrne must have agreed already as well.
Moira is one of the more well-known supporting characters for the X-Men in the comic books, too; so bringing her back can only add on to the story arc of Xavier, played by James McAvoy, which can only be good things.
Kinberg in an interview also said that Apocalypse "is the completion of the first arcs for Charles, Eric, Raven and Hank; who are essentially our main characters. They're such young actors and young characters, so there's a lot more story to tell. But as a first phase to their lives, there is this feeling of closure by the end of the movie".
X-Men: Apocalypse will be out on 18 May 2016.
