I didn't grow up with N.W.A. Probably not many people here have. So I needed an introduction.
I didn't even know Dr. Dre and Ice Cube started their careers together. This immediately got me interested. And the trailer looks just as good because there is a story to tell here, and the story does have something to say.
Directed by F. Gary Gray of The Italian Job, Law Abiding Citizen and The Negotiator. Starring Ice Cube's own son, O'Shea Jackson Jr., as Ice Cube and Corey Hawkins as Dr. Dre; also the new Storm in X-Men: Apocalypse, Alexandra Shipp; and Paul Giamatti, Straight Outta Compton will be released on 14 August 2015. But it probably will never reach here.
