I haven't heard the name Beach Boys in quite a long, long time. But their music is definitely iconic and beloved to this day. So I was actually quite surprised to find out about this trailer as I have not heard anything about this movie until now.
Love & Mercy is a biopic on Brian Wilson, leader of The Beach Boys. Starring Paul Dano as the younger Wilson and John Cusack as the older version; I just don't understand why there isn't a bigger marketing campaign since it's about the legendary Beach Boys... unless it isn't. I still can't really tell judging from this first trailer.
Also starring Elizabeth Banks and Paul Giamatti, the movie is set to be released this summer - as it should - on 5 June 2015.
