There's a new Transporter movie and it is without it's original star, Jason Statham. Not that that series was something that has a strong following, but somehow the studio, EuropaCorp, decided to make another.
The official title is The Transporter Refueled. Quite an uninspired title if you ask me.
This time, Ed Skrein is taking over the role as the Transporter. But judging from the trailer, there is nothing about it that warrants the refueling of this franchise.
Directed by Camille Delamarre whose last film was one of Paul Walker's final films, Brick Mansions, which came out early last year to horrible ratings; and it was one of my worst movies of the year. So I will very likely stay away from this.
The movie will be released on 19 June 2015.
If there's any Skrein fans out there, you'll probably going to watch this anyway. But if not, catch Skrein after this in next year's Deadpool.
