Director of Independence Day 2, Roland Emmerich, has announced on his Twitter account that he has added two more actors from the first movie to join the cast.
The first one wouldn't come as too much of a surprise since many speculations have it that Bill Pullman will return. He played the then-president of the United States. But Emmerich finally confirmed it in his Tweet.
The second one is veteran Judd Hirsch, who played the father to Jeff Goldblum's character. Goldblum, of course, was the first one from the original cast to be confirmed.
The new recruits are Liam Hemsworth and Jessie Usher (who will play the leading men since Will Smith isn't returning), Charlotte Gainsbourg (from the Nymphomaniac movies), Vivica A. Fox, Brent Spiner and Joey King.
The sequel will be released on 24 June 2016.
