New Spider-Man Will Be A Teen
Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige, has broke the silence after weeks of rumours speculating who will be under the webbed mask - In the comic book world, there have been a few who have taken up the moniker and its responsibility.
Feige has confirmed that the next Spider-Man will still be Peter Parker, but he will be young, as in 15 or 16 years of age, and will still be in highschool.
"That also makes him very, very different from any of our other characters in the MCU, which is something else we want to explore," explains Feige. "How unique he is when now put against all these other characters."
I'm still sad that Sony botched up The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and that franchise is now dead in the water along with Andrew Garfield's take on Peter Parker. I really enjoyed that franchise, but then again a big part of it was also the chemistry with Gwen Stacy played by Emma Stone. So at least I can find solace in Stacy's death.
Catch the new Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War next summer.
