First US Trailer For Mr. Holmes Is Very Different

This movie looks more and more beautiful, not to mention the accompanying score.

There probably isn't a better actor to play an aged Sherlock Holmes than Ian McKellen. And to have an equally talented Laura Linney (both of whom have been nominated for Oscars) to play off of only adds on the intrigue as to what this movie can be.

This trailer differs greatly from the previous one released for the UK (I suspect). This version shows off more humour. It even shows a different plot altogether, which is most strange.

Directed by Bill Condon; and there is now an official US release date, which is 17 July 2015.

Now if only Hugh Jackman would reveal his real age and play "Old Man Logan"...
