Jennifer Aniston Set To Star In Mean Moms
Ever wondered "what happens to Queen Bees and Wannabes when they grow up?" Mean Moms is here to shed some light on the subject.
Mean Moms will be adapted from Rosalind Wiseman's non-fiction "Queen Bee Moms And Kingpin Dads", a follow-up to another book of hers, "Queenbees And Wannabees", which served as a source material for the 2004 comedy, Mean Girls.
A director has also now been attached. Sean Anders, who has just directed Anniston in Horrible Bosses 2 (which I have not seen), has signed on to write as well.
My favourite movie by Anders has to be Sex Drive which was surprisingly funny and charming. Anders also wrote for We're The Millers (also starring Aniston), Dumb And Dumber To, Hot Tub Time Machine, Mr. Popper's Penguins, Horrible Bosses 2, and another favourite comedy of mine, She's Out Of My League.
In the right formula, I could really enjoy this. But I'm a bit hesitant for Aniston to take this role. She was almost nominated for an Oscar for her performance in Cake, and now she's going back to the kind of roles that does nothing for her career. I could be wrong, but... I could be right.
