Keegan Michael Key and Jordan Peele are one busy duo at the moment. Not only appearing in multiple big named franchises (most notably is Key in Pitch Perfect 2 and Tomorrowland recently), they are also developing a few movies all at once.
The Substitute Teacher is already in the works and now the duo are developing another original movie titled Keanu for New Line Cinema (supposedly named after Keanu Reeves).
Will Forte has just signed on to the project to play a "low-level pot dealer obsessed with black culture". The existing cast includes Key, Peele, Gabrielle Union and Method Man.
Keanu will be directed by Peter Atencio who has also worked with Key and Peele on their TV series "Key & Peele", as well as Forte on his series "The Last Man On Earth".
No release date as of yet.
