Eli Roth's The Green Inferno almost did not get to see the light of day ever since its original production company Worldview Entertainment went into some financial difficulties with the distribution of the movie.
But now, Roth has released a video announcement on his Facebook page thanking Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions for picking the movie up.
The Green Inferno was supposed to be released last year on 5 September. As of today, the new release date is set for 25 September 2015.
I was not impressed with the first trailer. Roth isn't one of my favourite directors to say the least, but maybe the movie will change my mind.
