Official Synopsis Released For Batman v Superman

Warner Bros. has finally released an official synopsis for their biggest movie of the decade, the showdown that fanboys have been waiting for: Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

But having read it, I really don't like it.

"Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before."

The part that I don't like about this is the final sentence, about "a new threat". I was hoping this movie will only focus on Batman fighting Superman, and perhaps a small-ish villain to get the two to work together towards the end. But this threat that's going to put "mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before" - even greater danger than Zod - this would mean a very significant villain.

And not to mention the title is "Dawn Of Justice" which means we'll see the birth of Justice League. At this moment, it feels like there's just too much stuff going on in a movie where it's about Batman versus Superman.

Let's not forget too, this is a standalone movie created so that Batman can fight Superman. This isn't the Man Of Steel sequel. This isn't a new Batman prequel. This is "Batman v Superman"! So just give us that!
