Schwarzenegger In Another Dramatic Role In 478
I like what Arnold Schwarzenegger is doing with his career at the moment. Even though his last dramatic movie, Maggie, resulted in lukewarm response; his performance in it was still lauded by critics.
So what does he do next? With a big budget, summer blockbuster with the familiar title of Terminator Genisys just around the corner; Deadline has reported that Schwarzenegger has signed up for another dramatic role that will see him playing a grieving husband and father seeking revenge on a negligent air traffic controller that caused a plane crash.
The script by Enemy writer Javier Gullon is not an action drama but a character-driven movie. This will surely push Schwarzenegger's acting chops even further and it will be interesting to see if he will deliver to that level.
Darren Aronofsky's Protozoa Pictures will produce but no word yet whether Aronofsky himself will direct. If he does, my interest for this movie will be off the charts.
No word yet on a release date but the production will begin in a few months' time.
