The Gift Second Trailer Makes First One Better

The Jason Bateman and Joel Edgerton thriller The Gift has released a second trailer and it's a much better trailer than the first one.

Actually, the first trailer makes more sense now after seeing the second one because it kind of sets up the first trailer.

And having understand that this is a psychological thriller gives me more hope for the Edgerton directed movie. I do wonder though, why this trailer which is only less than a minute and a half long, wasn't released as the first teaser instead.

In fact, what caught my attention was that it is currently sitting at 100% on RottenTomatoes with early critic reviews - very impressive seeing as I thought it's going to be a rotten rating. There's even comparisons of Edgerton to Ben Affleck!
