Gold is a drama mining movie set in the uncharted jungles of Indonesia, directed by Academy Award-winning director Stephen Gaghan who did Syriana and Traffic.
Today, according to ComingSoon, Black Bear Pictures released a report saying Bryce Dallas Howard has been cast as the female lead and she will star opposite Academy Award-winning actor Matthew McConaughey.
This movie looks like it could be Oscar bait for 2017.
Also starring in this movie is Edgar Ramirez, Corey Stoll and Tobey Kebbell. All of whom are great actors in their own right.
Even though the story is set in Indonesia, the movie started production in Thailand and is currently filming in New Mexico.
No word yet for a release date but it should be for 2016.
