I am surprised that this movie wasn't made sooner, seeing as James Dean was such an icon back in the day with such an interesting life that ended too early.
The movie, titled Life, stars Dane DeHaan as Dean (who looks very little like Dean so far); and co-starring Robert Pattinson, Ben Kingsley and Joel Edgerton.
Directed by Anton Corbijn, who directed A Most Wanted Man, The American and Control, this first trailer looks very biopic-y in a generic sort of way. But I'm sure the subject and story itself will be fascinating to watch.
Life will be out later this year.
