Jon Favreau's The Jungle Book First Teaser Is Amazing!

When I first heard that Jon Favreau was going to do a remake of Disney's The Jungle Book in animated format, I wasn't so thrilled.

One reason is because I prefer a live-action for any classic Disney property because the classic is untouchable. And there was really no reason to recreate the same story in animated form. Another reason is that lately Disney has been turning all their classics into live-action, so why not The Jungle Book?

But today, I'm singing a very different tune. This first teaser of a trailer looks incredible! I cannot believe how good and how live-like it looks. Favreau and Disney have taken animation to a whole new level with this. But not to celebrate everything about it too prematurely, I will still reserve some hesitation for how the animals talk and how Mogway will look.

But if Favreau really pulls this off, he is going to be a name that Disney is going to love for a long, long time.

So far, we only hear the unmistakable and sexy voice of Scarlett Johansson. The rest of the voice talents are made up of Bill Murray, Idris Elba, Ben Kingsley, Christopher Walken and Lupita Nyong'o.

The movie will be out on 15 April 2016... I can't wait!
