Previously speculated, Rachel McAdams today has confirmed with The Wrap that she has officially joined the cast of Doctor Strange and the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
However, as she said in the short clip, she is still unable to reveal who she will be playing. But at her caliber, I'm going to say she will be playing the female lead opposite Benedict Cumberbatch as the potential love interest. Not unless Marvel is introducing her in this movie as Captain Marvel!
Tilda Swinton and Chiwetel Ejiofor have already been cast as the Ancient One and the villainous Baron Mordo respectively. However, Ejiofor may not play the biggest baddie for Cumberbatch's good doctor as Mads Mikkelsen has also been rumoured to play the main antagonist of the movie.
Doctor Strange will be out on 4 November 2016, meaning production start date must be close.
