It was never a doubt but it's still great to hear the official confirmation that the sequel to this year's Marvel blockbuster, Ant-Man, is underway.
But not only that, we also got the official title from Marvel Studios. It will be called Ant-Man And The Wasp. Now it may sound a little silly at first, but I think that's what Marvel is aiming for. A little 80's vibe, a little tongue-in-cheek, a little on the nose.
And like one of the Collider Movie Talk crew mentioned; imagine Paul Rudd as Scott Lang saying it!
It was also announced that this sequel will arrive on 6 July 2018. If you pay close attention to Marvel's dates, you'll notice that this was the spot that Black Panther was supposed to come out after being pushed back by Spider-Man's addition.
I'll give a full update on the dates in my next post. But for now, rejoice for another Ant-Man movie.
