It was being announced today by Fox Searchlight Pictures that the new Marc Webb movie has begin production with Chris Evans in the starring role.
The synopsis of the movie goes like this:
In Gifted, Frank Adler (Evans) is a single man raising a child prodigy - his spirited young niece Mary (Mckenna Grace) - in a coastal town in Florida. Frank's plans for a normal school life for Mary are foiled when the seven-year-old's mathematical abilities come to the attention of Frank's formidable mother Evelyn (Lindsay Duncan) whose plans for her granddaughter threatens to separate Frank and Mary.
The movie also stars Octavia Spencer and Jenny Slate, and will be released some time next year.
