I'm going to call it now, Triple 9 is going to be the second movie of the year immediately after Deadpool that's going to be pushing the summer season of blockbusters earlier and earlier, after Captain America: The Winter Soldier did it for 2014.
Kingsman: The Secret Service tried it this year but didn't have any other big movies to open with it.
A big time robbery by some dirty cops is going to require a big cast of good guys and bad guys. And that's what we're getting here. More interestingly to me is Norman Reedus of "The Walking Dead" fame. He's one of the permanent staples of the TV series and this could be his transition into movies if done right.
We'll also be seeing Gal Gadot here first before we decide whether or not she's a good fit as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice in March.
This international trailer looks even better than the first trailer that was released a month ago. Everyone in it looks fantastic. I can't wait to see this movie.
