Here's one movie that I haven't heard of until now. Lionsgate has developed an action-adventure movie based on the classic mythology of Egypt.
Starring Gerard Butler, Brenton Thwaites, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Chadwick Boseman, Rufus Sewell, Abby Lee, Elodie Yung, Courtney Eaton and Geoffrey Rush. Both Lee and Eaton were last seen in this summer's blockbuster Mad Max: Fury Road; while Coster-Waldau has a recurring role in "Game Of Thrones".
The movie is directed by Alex Proyas whose last movie was 2009's Knowing starring Nicolas Cage, which I thoroughly enjoyed and thought it was quite underrated. Proyas also directed I, Robot and The Crow so on paper this could have potential.
Lionsgate has also just released six character posters featuring Butler, Coster-Waldau, Thwaites, Boseman and Yung. Check them out below.
The movie will be out on 26 February 2016, so there is a potential for it to be crap; especially when it's written by the same people who wrote The Last Witch Hunter and Dracula Untold! But I'll still hold off judgement until I see the first trailer which could be releasing soon.
