One of the factors that made The Incredibles such a great, fun and exciting movie was because the score by Michael Giacchino.
The marriage between the storytelling and the musical scores elevated the overall impact of the movie and catapulted it to being one of the best animated movies created by Disney and Pixar.
Today, it is confirmed - through Brad Bird's Twitter account with a short clip of Giacchino signing the contract - that Giacchino will indeed be back to score for The Incredibles 2.
The pair have actually worked together ever since the original Incredibles movie back in 2004, with Giacchino providing for scores on every directorial effort from Bird.
It's always encouraging to hear the old team from something great is coming back together to work on a follow-up. Let's wait to hear that all the voice talents will be back, including Samuel L. Jackson as Frozone.
The movie is set for a 21 June 2019 release date.
