Nia Vardalos is back with a new script for the sequel to her 2002 runaway hit My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
From what we can see in this trailer, seems like the same cast is back, even Joey Fatone. However, Vardalos' script so far seems to have taken a trim and doesn't seem that interesting. It actually feels very generic.
There were only a couple of scenes when I smiled. Other than that, I wasn't that interested. But wasn't this the same as the original movie? Where nobody thought it would be such a sweet little comedy and it turned out to be one of the biggest indie hit.
So here's hoping the movie itself will be more interesting when it comes out on 25 March 2016.
