Star Wars: The Force Awakens Running Time Confirmed

With the release of ticket sales today at Times Cineplex (Brunei), I have managed to secure two tickets with the good people at Fanboys Infinite who have booked the whole Cinema 1.

I also heard that tickets have sold out as of this afternoon. I dare say that this was probably the fastest ever for a movie in the history of Brunei cinema.

Also, over the weekend, through the release of Entertainment Weekly's cover story, we have learned from /Film that the running time for the movie will be 2 hours and 15 minutes. I love this news. For a big movie like this, it has to be more than two hours. But anything more than 2 hours 20 minutes is a bit of a stretch so this run time is just perfect.

Of course, the actual product will have to be experienced first before passing final judgement. But director J.J. Abrams has locked down the running time and will spend the rest of the last 30 or so days working on CGI, as well as one final scoring session with composer John Williams.

With tickets now in my hand, who says dreams can't come true?
