From the director Dan Mazer, who produced and directed a lot of Sacha Baron Cohen's projects like Bruno, Borat, "Da Ali G Show" series; comes a comedy about a dirty grandpa.
As you can see in this trailer, there's nothing subtle about the dirty jokes; or rather everything is very in your face - just like Cohen's brand of humour, which is why I never liked Cohen's earlier stuff. I find the crassness distatestful.
So far this first trailer has not won me over even when you put Zac Efron and Robert De Niro as the leads. I hope the movie will actually be a lot better, otherwise this is going to be another dud for Efron after his very bad decision to star in We Are Your Friends, which just tanked really badly. But, this probably explains why the movie is coming out in the month of January - the month where movies go and die.
Also starring Julianne Hough, Aubrey Plaza, Zoey Deutch and Dermot Mulroney; the movie will be out on 22 January 2016.
