It was back in June of 2014 that we learned writer-director Shane Black is bringing Predator back to the silver screen.
More than a year later, Black's co-writer Fred Dekker has confirmed on his Facebook page that the script has finally been completed and turned in to 20th Century Fox.
Black is set to direct the new and "inventive sequel" that is poised to reignite the franchise. I think Black is an inspired choice, after having seen what he did with Iron Man 3. Black was also an actor in the original Predator movie so his roots run deep.
No word yet, however, on a release date but Fox will probably make an announcement soon.
