Sony Pictures Animation has today announced a delay in their upcoming animated Spider-Man movie.
Not much has been known about the project other than The Lego Movie directors, Chris Miller and Phil Lord, are set to write and direct.
Initially the movie was set to open on 20 July 2018, but have now been delayed to 21 December 2018.
In the same vein, however, Sony has announced the release date for two other animated properties; beginning with The Emoji Movie opening on 11 August 2017, as well as a new adaptation of Peter Rabbit set to open on 23 March 2018.
Seems like Sony is bouncing back just fine.
