Star Wars: The Force Awakens Crushes Worldwide Box Office Numbers

The first weekend for Star Wars: The Force Awakens has just ended and the final numbers are in.

Setting an all-time industry record in the US, the ticket sales now stands at USD 247.9 million! International markets recorded a USD 281 million, bringing the worldwide total to USD 528.9 million!

It has now officially surpassed this year's surprise mega-blockbuster Jurassic World, which achieved USD 208.8 million in the US and USD 525 million worldwide.
