Using the power of social media and hashtag, Lionsgate has released two posters today for The Divergent Series: Allegiant, via a selected Twitter account of one of its fans - @dauntlessrebel.
But to be honest, these two posters featuring Shailene Woodley and Theo James don't do much for me. They aren't much of a poster anyway, just showing two of the love birds hugging it out. Clearly these were meant for the fans, who came together and generated 58,000 hashtag mentions! As a marketing strategy, it worked.
The movie will be out on 18 March 2016.
