Now, Variety is reporting that Skydance Production has offered her the lead role in their upcoming science fiction film, Life.
Life will follow a crew aboard the International Space Station that discovers signs of life on Mars, which proves to be more intelligent and cunning than expected.
Immediately I'm thinking Sunshine and Pandorum and all the other fun sci-fi thrillers that came before. Every few years, someone has got to make one of them and Skydance seems like a great fit. Put in Ferguson and yes, interest will definitely be high.
