Star Wars: The Force Awakens First To Cross USD 800 Million, 3rd Globally
Star Wars: The Force Awakens held strong last weekend to finish as the number one movie in the US, and has become the first movie in the States to cross USD 800 million, ever; finishing on Sunday with USD 812 million.
The seventh installment also just opened in China and internationally made USD 104.3 million overall. It's global numbers now stands at USD 1.733 billion. It is the number three biggest movie of all time, passing Jurassic World's USD 1.669 billion.
It still has some ways to go to catch up with the biggest movie in the world, Avatar.
