Editorial: My Top 5 Super Bowl Trailers

Super Bowl 50 had some great trailers, though some of the huge ones were missing, like Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, Assassin's Creed and Suicide Squad.

I sat through all the movie trailers yesterday and decided to rank the top five. Check it out below. But first, an honorable mention:

10 Cloverfield Lane
This goes very well with the first trailer that came out a month ago as we can now understand that trailer without having to read any synopsis, because this is the synopsis.

5) Independence Day: Resurgence

All those aliens and dog fights in the sky, and then destroying the whole city; yes, let's celebrate Independence day again.

4) Jason Bourne

No longer titled The Bourne Somethingy, this trailer came out of nowhere to surprise everyone. Jason Bourne is back and he's got his memory back. And he looks ripped and badass.

3) X-Men: Apocalypse

This is the best marketing material put out by the movie so far. That shot of Psylocke slicing a car in half is amazing.

2) Captain America: Civil War

Nobody cuts a trailer like Marvel does. Once again, the final shot hits you in all the right places as we see the starting line-up of both teams.

1) The Jungle Book

A full trailer from Disney and it looks beautiful. The voice talents sound spot on and I just want to hear more from these characters. And the soundtrack makes everything on screen pop even more.
