Elizabeth Banks is everywhere these days. She's even delved into the directing role sometimes. And now, Lionsgate has confirmed that she will be in their upcoming Power Rangers reboot as the main villain.
Banks will play Rita Repulsa, an evil witch that has previously been imprisoned for thousands of years and now she will be back to conquering the world.
The Power Rangers will be made up of Dacre Montgomery as Jason the leader Red Ranger, R.J. Cyler as Billy the Blue Ranger, Naomi Scott as Kimberly the Pink Ranger, Ludi Lin as Zack the Black Ranger and Becky G. as Trini the Yellow Ranger.
The movie will be directed by Project Almanac helmer, Dean Israelite; and will be in cinemas on 24 March 2017.
